Bajaj Bikes: India is the largest two-wheeler market in the world, and it continues to grow rapidly. Bajaj Auto has solidified its position in this massive market over the years, thanks to its motorcycles and scooters. Pulsar and Platina are among the company’s most popular bike brands. However, news has emerged that Bajaj will be discontinuing some selected models from its Pulsar, Platina, and CT bike brands. The models including the Pulsar F250, Platina 110 ABS, and CT125X will no longer be available in India.
Why the Discontinuation?
Bajaj has decided to stop manufacturing these specific bike models because they have not performed well in terms of sales for a long time. Two of these bikes, the Platina 110 ABS and CT125X, belong to the commuter segment. The Platina 110 ABS was the only bike in its segment to offer single-channel ABS, and the CT125X was known for being a strong and durable 125cc bike. Despite these unique features, these bikes have not gained significant traction in the market, leading the company to stop production of these models.
The Pulsar F250 Will Not Be Seen Anymore
The Pulsar brand is very popular in India, with bikes ranging from 125cc to 400cc currently available in the market. The Pulsar 220F gained significant popularity, and Bajaj launched the Pulsar F250 based on its design. However, the Pulsar F250 failed to live up to the popularity of the Pulsar brand and the Pulsar 220F, prompting the company to halt production of this model as well.
